Progress

  • Developing countries are gaining access to developed countries’ markets.

Concerns

  • There is less aid money overall, with the poorest countries most adversely affected.

​Research from PIK

  • Despite the fact that at least one mobile phone is used in most families, some still do not have any.

  • None of the families have the internet access at their houses or in their areas.

  • The internet at the internet cafes in urban areas (eg. towns) has slow connections.
