Nevece is a single mother.
Her husband married another woman and left the family with the second wife.
Since Nevece got divorced, her husband never supported the family.
Her child goes to primary school, but she struggles to pay the school fee.
Nevece does casual work as a cleaner and receives some food from the houses she cleans.
The family eats about 4 evenings a week, mostly potatoes and Ugali.
They live in a house without a kitchen, however this offers little protection and they have to use lamps for light.
They get water from the tap.
