Susan is a single mother.
Her husband passed away in 2008 due to sickness.
Susan’s child goes to primary school, but Susan struggles to pay the school fees.
Susan gets some food from her farm but the family eat only in the evenings.
Their diet is potatoes and Ugali.
They live in a 2 room house with a kitchen, however this offers little protection and they have to use a well for water and lamps for light.
